Sharing the burden

The Live & Local network is a bit like a house buying chain – with Promoters, performers, audiences and the office team forming the essential links. Like a housing chain, everything a particular “link” does (or doesn’t do!) can affect everyone else in the scheme – this includes the booking process, attracting the audiences, the reporting processes and coming along to Promoter Meetings. However, unlike (most!) housing chains everyone in the Live & Local chain can help each other.

There are over 100 Promoters on the Live & Local network across Staffordshire, Warwickshire and Derbyshire, so there is bound to be another venue not far from you – and therefore another Promoter with ideas, experience, a local network and an audience who like village hall shows!

Contact your nearest Live & Local Promoter for help selling each others’ tickets, local leaflet distribution ideas, getting something in their Parish Newsletter or asking them to hand out leaflets or make announcements at their local events.
