As part of this incubator, the selected artist/company will be funded up to £2500 to develop a work-in-progress that will be initially showcased in Warwick District, with the potential to tour across the Live & Local network (subject to the suitability and completion of the work).

About the Opportunity

Live & Local is seeking an artist or arts organisation to develop a new piece of work designed for rural communities.

We welcome proposals across the following artforms:

  • Music
  • Theatre
  • Dance

This opportunity is aimed at professional artists or companies who are new to rural touring, or who have limited experience in touring work to rural and community venues, but may have experience presenting work in studio or traditional performance settings.

The proposed work should be:

  • Suitable for performance in rural and community spaces such as village halls, community centres and similar venues
  • Adaptable for touring within the Live & Local network

The selected artist/company will receive support from the Live & Local team, alongside mentoring from an experienced artist relevant to their artform.
