Each spring, Live & Local organises its annual Menu Launches. Each one takes place in each county, usually at a village hall in a central location.
The Menu Launches are a great chance to meet other Promoters, swap stories, share ideas, talk about shows and enjoy a free drink. They’re also an opportunity to meet the Live & Local team and put a face to that voice at the end of the phone-line, as well as giving us a chance to say thank you and well done.
At the Launch we will introduce the new Live & Local Menu. You’ll be able to find out about shows that you might consider booking in the following year and you will see a preview of one of the acts featured in the Menu.
On the night we will provide drinks and snacks and you will be able to have a chat over a glass of wine, discuss shows you have already had and shows which you might consider having the following year.
If you are intending to promote a show it is essential that either you and/or another member of your Promoter Group or your committee come along to one of these Menu Launches.
The networking aspect of the launch is vital: don’t forget to bring along some tickets for your next show to sell to your neighbouring Promoters! And this could be your chance to start a link with another nearby Promoter, putting up posters and selling tickets for each other’s future events.
It’s all part of what makes the network really work.
