Complimentary Tickets

As part of your contract with Live & Local you have agreed to provide two complimentary tickets per performance, which must be made available to Live & Local and can be used at our discretion; provided we have asked for them in time!

These Live & Local comps will be used for:

  • Other Promoters who wish to check out shows for their venue. This could be our main contact (i.e. you!), or other people on the committee or from the community who would be able to report back on the show;
  • Live & Local staff;
  • Companies - our contracts with companies usually have comps built in. Companies should always book these through the Live & Local office and not directly through Promoters;
  • Occasional dignitaries, funders, reviewers, etc;
  • Live & Local raffle prize winners who have selected to use their BOGOF (Buy One Get One Free) Voucher for your show;
  • Friends of Live & Local who have selected to use their BOGOF Voucher for your show.

If we wish to use our two Live & Local complimentary tickets, we should confirm this up to three days before a performance. If we confirm any later than this then it is left to your discretion as to whether they are made available to us as complimentary tickets.

Should we request more than two Live & Local comps, then once again, it is your decision as to whether these additional tickets are available as comps or whether you ask us to pay for them.

If you wish to give out comps in your own community for your own reasons then these would be in addition to the two Live & Local comps.

If your show is likely to sell out then please contact us! Apart from giving us the good news, this will also help us to avoid any muddles. In addition, we will be able to update your show details on the Live & Local website to let the public know that you have sold out. If you are planning to operate a Reserves List then please do let us know as we can put this information on the website too.

We always ask promoters, performers, raffle winners and Friends who want to use the Live & Local complimentary tickets and BOGOF vouchers to book these through the Live & Local office. If you receive any calls regarding comps and vouchers please ask the caller to ring the office. This will ensure that we know when the complimentary tickets have already been allocated for your show, avoiding any confusion.

If there are any Live & Local shows you would like to go and see then please give us a call. There are two complimentary tickets available for each show and if they haven’t already been allocated we will book them for you. This means that you can see shows or companies that you might consider booking next year or it could simply be that you want a night out and a chance to see the show!
