Access & Visitor Information

Brush stroke

We are keen to show disabled patrons that rural touring venues are welcoming, accessible places to enjoy the arts and, more importantly, to give them the most accurate information we can so that they can make informed choices.

When you join Live & Local we ask you to complete a very simple and easy-to-follow Access & Visitor Information Survey for the venue(s) where your Live & Local performances take place. This will enable us to provide the most reliable and accurate information about access to your venue and its facilities for disabled people in our What’s On Diaries and on our website.

We use a series of symbols on the website and in all our relevant publicity so that our access information is easy for disabled people to understand and assimilate. However, along with good physical access to your venue, one of the most important things is that it is a friendly and welcoming place to enjoy the arts and in this you, our Promoters, always score highly!
