Who's my Councillor?
Its really important that we keep Live & Local regularly in the mind of the Councillors who take the policy decisions about funding cultural, arts and community activities in your area.
We do this constantly through the Arts Officers, however please do take the initiative yourselves and contact your local Councillor personally, inviting them to your show. The invitation, even if not taken up, can be very effective to just keep them aware - whether they are finders or not..
Use the opportunity to show them what their constituents' (and your!) money is being spent on and how well-received Live & Local shows are in your community.
