Performance Contract and Booking Terms & Conditions
When you submit the Show Request Form, you will automatically be sent a Show Request Confirmation email acknowledging that we have received your Show Request Form.
Performance Contract
For all performance requests:
Your submitted Show Request Form constitutes an offer from you to Live & Local Ltd to host your requested number of performances on one of the preferred or possible dates offered against each choice on the Show Request Form as part of the Live & Local managed community performance scheme under the terms of our Performance Contract.
Our Show Request Confirmation email is the acceptance of the contractual offer and confirms there is a Performance Contract between us for your event(s). Non receipt of the Show Request Confirmation email does not null and void the Performance Contract which is created when you submit the Show Request Form.
TO BE CLEAR - it is your submission of the Show(s) Request form that creates the agreement to host a show. NOT the email from Live & Local confirming the show(s)/dates(s).
Booking Request Terms & Conditions
When you submit the Show Request Form, you are confirming that on behalf of your organisation:
We have read and understand our responsibilities under the Promoter Agreement and the Performance Contract (see relevant link above) including but not restricted to: - Public Liability Insurance - Event Licensing - PRS/PPL Licensing - Equalities & Diversity Legislation - Risk Assessments
We understand that it is our responsibility to liaise with other nearby participating venues or events before submitting this Request Form to avoid date and show clashes.
The dates submitted on the Request Form are held or pencilled in our venue/event diary.
We will inform Live & Local asap if any dates offered on the Show Request from become unavailable.
We have held/pencilled enough time in the venue/event diary to get the show in before the doors open.
We have checked that the performance areas of all our show choices fit into our hall (including headroom) or site.
We accept the seating and format requirements detailed in the Menu for our show choices. (nb seating maximum and minimum capacities would be agreed before contract and can be subject to change)
We agree that the main contact's home number (or mobile number if there is no home number) we have on record for your group can be used as the default main box office number in the event that we do not receive your Publicity Form for an event by the deadline detailed on the Show Confirmation email.
