During the Prohibition Era, artists like Bessie Smith would often have their regular job performing shows but when the work is done, they often attended a late night space where they could just let go.

Building on her family-friendly Prohibition Party, which has been touring the UK since 2015, Ma Bessie aka Julia Titus decided to follow her idols and put together her very own After Hours show. Showcasing the more cheeky, risque and lyrically bawdy songs such as Kitchen Man, Take Me For A Buggy Ride, Whip It To A Jelly and You Gotta Give Me Some from Bessie Smith and the Prohibition Era in general.
