This big-hearted performance about allotments and the communities around them is inspired by real-life interviews from allotment owners and community gardeners aged 9 to 90! Using a unique combination of movement, drama and documentary, The Allotment Project is a joyful, moving and inspiring piece that explores our relationship to the land, the seasons and each other.
Created by record breaking choreographer Tim Casson in collaboration with the performers, the performance is a human, humorous and heartwarming duet that combines quirky & energetic dance with touching & fun dialogue to celebrate the joy of growing plants, food & community relationships.
Be inspired to get growing, as you leave the show with your very own seed pack and a link to a project webpage full of green fingered facts collected from amateurs & experts interviewed for the show. A guaranteed great night out for everyone from the most green-fingered gardeners to those who can’t keep a houseplant alive!
