It's an exciting time to join Live & Local. We are growing fast this year to support a network of over 300 voluntary organisations across seven counties in the east and west Midlands who choose and promote professional live performances and film screenings for their local community run venues. Live & Local is a National Portfolio Organisation of Arts Council England.
The Marketing Assistant will support the Marketing & Communications Manager in all aspects of marketing and communications, including print production and distribution, PR and press and digital media.
You should be an efficient and enthusiastic person with good organisational, communication and computer skills, a friendly personality, good written English and numeracy abilities and an interest in the arts. Some experience of working within an office based, team environment and of publicity and/or promotional practices and of social media for arketing/communications is essential; within an arts context is desirable.

Live & Local is recruiting a pool of screening managers to transport and set up our portable screening equipment and manage screening events for our rural cinema scheme – BIG PICTURE SHOW - delivered in partnership with community groups. Applicants should be able to demonstrate appropriate technical skills as well as effective and confident communication skills in liaising with voluntary local groups and managing screening events.
Engagements will be mostly evenings and weekends and managers will generally be responsible for transporting our equipment in their own vehicles.
In the first instance we are interested in people who can service our Warwickshire network. However we are now expanding our network into Staffordshire so would like to hear from people who can cover either or both counties.
