John has been with Live & Local since it began in 1991 (formerly the Warwickshire Village & Community Touring Scheme). Starting out as a freelancer contracted by Warwickshire County Council, he then set the scheme up as an independent organisation (Warwickshire Community Arts) with ‘Live & Local’ as just one of the projects the company managed. Eventually the Warwickshire and Staffordshire schemes were joined together and the Company became Live & Local to reflect its concentration on the touring scheme.

Chrissy joined Live & Local in March 2008; she has been working in the arts for a few years and was formally the Exhibitions Officer at Nuneaton Museum & Art Gallery. Chrissy is responsible for managing the office, contracts, bookkeeping and fundraising. Since starting with Live & Local Chrissy has enjoyed getting to see a variety of performances and meeting all those involved. She is looking forward to running the new Friends scheme for Live & Local.

Helen Wardle

Helen joined Live & Local in June 2009. She is responsible for daily administration tasks, including organising complimentary tickets, sending routine correspondence to promoters, arranging Front of House Banners and is the first point of contact for all general administration enquiries.

Jenny Clarke

Jenny joined Live & Local in 2005 after gaining a degree in Arts & Cultural Management and has been here ever since! In Nov 2007, she became our Marketing Officer. Jenny is responsible for all aspects of Marketing for Live & Local and assists John with Programme & Menu Development. During her three years she still finds meeting audiences and hard-working promoters at Live & Local venues the most enjoyable part of her job. No show experience is ever the same!

Suzanne Hunt

Suzanne recently joined Live & Local and also works as an Assistant Education Ranger for Warwickshire Wildlife Trust. Suzanne is responsible for daily administration tasks and managing overprinting publicity material, updating venue access information and the mailing list and editing the website. She is looking forward to learning all about the role whilst looking for ways to expand our marketing and help with administration duties.

Emma Lewis

Emma has worked with Live & Local since December 2006. Her role as Fieldworker involves Promoter recruitment and support as well as liaison with local authorities. She has previously worked as a Centre Assistant at Salisbury Arts Centre and as a Gallery Assistant at the Mead Gallery in Warwick Arts Centre. Emma combines her part-time position at Live & Local with the role of Publicity Officer at Leamington Spa Art Gallery & Museum where she works two days per week.

Vicki Campbell

Vicki joined Live and Local in June 2009. Her role as Derbyshire Fieldworker involves Promoter recruitment and support as well as liaison with local authorities. She has previously worked as part of the Exhibitions Team at Derby Museum and Art Gallery, and more recently as Arts Development Officer for Amber Valley Borough Council in Derbyshire. Always a strong advocate for the Live & Local Scheme when working in Local Government she is now very pleased and excited to be working for the organisation itself.
