She'Koyokh are one of London's musical treasures, performing the rich folk traditions of Jewish Eastern Europe, Turkey and the Balkans, the music fiery and emotional, the gorgeous songs lyric and virtuosic.

In concert, this prize-winning and impressively multinational band are never less than brilliant, weaving a rich tapestry of intricate, kaleidoscopic melodies, rambunctious rhythms and stunning and soulful song. This award-winning band has a 16-year history as 'a brilliant live ensemble' (Songlines Magazine), and a reputation for being 'the best klezmer and Balkan music band in the UK' (Evening Standard).

Since bursting on to the UK's music scene in the early naughties, busking at London's East End markets, She'Koyokh has toured the world, won numerous international awards - including a Millennium Award from the Jewish Music Institute, first prize at the International Jewish Music Festival Amsterdam 2008 and a shortlist for 'Best Group' in the Songlines World Music Awards 2012 - and released four critically acclaimed albums.

She'Koyokh has played WOMAD festivals, Amsterdam Concertgebouw, festivals in Germany, Hungary, Cyprus, the Canary Islands, Norway and Poland, at London's Kings Place and Southbank Centre, Aldeburgh's Snape Proms and regular live sessions on BBC Radio. Collaborations include concerts with the Aurora Orchestra at LSO St Luke's, St George's Bristol Music Hall and the Brighton Dome, and educational work with the Aldeburgh Young Musicians at Snape Maltings, Suffolk. Projects in 2018 include collaborations with South Indian violinist, Jyotsna Srikanth, the Wonderful Beast Theatre Company and a Sevdah project with La Folia (UK orchestra). Absorbing and performing the rich folk music traditions of Jewish Eastern Europe, Turkey and the Balkans, She'Koyokh's shows bring together the stunning polyphonic melodies and intricate rhythms of Bulgaria, treasured tunes from Serbian villages and exhilarating Gypsy dances from Romania as well as soulful Sephardic songs and klezmer music from the Jewish diaspora. Added to the mix are Albanian folk songs popular in southern Kosovo, beautiful Armenian song and Yiddish swing numbers from 1950s New York.
