Winter is the season for storytelling! What better way to spend a dark evening than to enjoy a magical and timeless fairy-tales, performed with great relish and gusto by Daniel and Oliver? Expect singalongs, high drama and low humour, mysterious strangers, danger, shocking twists and sudden jumps! Experienced story-teller, Daniel and world-class musician, Oliver are well-known for bringing high quality performances to rural audiences and Live & Local fans may remember their work with ‘The Devil's Violin’ last year. Back by popular demand, their latest show combines joyful, live music and dynamic storytelling to convey timeless, traditional stories (often with strong Celtic folk connections). ‘Twice Upon a Time’ has virtually no technical requirements – only a warm, quiet space and a willing audience! The set is simple but charming, using beautiful backdrops to transport any space into a magical, fairy-tale world. The tales are told in a thoroughly entertaining and accessible way and are accompanied by the enchanting sounds of the fiddle: whether audience members are eight years old or one-hundred and eight years old, ‘Twice Upon a Time’ will ensure everyone is thoroughly engaged and has a smile on their face. Two fairy-tales performed by Daniel Morden (story) and Oliver Wilson-Dickson (fiddle).
