'Les Gloriables' is a riotously silly physical comedy show created by the award-winning French/ English female comedy theatre duo, Lise Boucon (as the legendary French actress Gloria Delaneuf) and Susie Donkin of 'Horrible Histories' (a her wonderfully hapless, downtrodden, endlessly apologetic assistant Josephine Cunningham). The glamorous Gloria has dreamed a dream. Determined to reunite Europe, she takes her one-woman version of Victor Hugo's classic novel 'Les Miserables' to the streets, and stomps all over it, with ridiculous costume changes, 21st Century jokes, and a big chunk of wildly inventive and hilarious audience participation. A real joy; belly-achingly funny. Expect a master class in resistance – French style. Vive La Revolution!
