Performance date and time
Friday, 11th October 2019
7:30 PM

Seasoned rural tourers, Two Gent Productions, are back with another fantastically original take on one of Shakespeare's classic comedies. The themes of mistaken identity, loss, journey, family, confusion and high jinks are brought to life in this classic Two Gents bare boned, interactive theatre style show. Two Gents Productions encourage the audience to participate during their shows – some will be asked questions and others have previously been invited on to the stage! The company playfully celebrate the fun that can be had with Shakespeare's early comedy but also tease out the more serious undertones and relate them to their own contemporary experiences of migration and displacement. This show is a triumphantly energetic, bare-boned, South African inspired style of theatre. Known for their radical retellings of canonical plays, Two Gents have won acclaim with their Africanised versions of Shakespeare plays. Performed by a cast of two men on no-frills stage sets., Two Gents have performed in venues across Britain and the world. Prepare to be moved, challenged and highly entertained.
