Contemporary original British folk songs with a nod to Nashville from three piece touring collaboration of three respected solo songwriters Kate Bramley, Simon Haworth and Edwina Hayes.

Kate Bramley is a fine singer and instrumentalist, best known as fiddler and vocalist for the North-east’s Jez Lowe & the Bad Pennies and the American band, Sweetgrass.

Edwina Hayes’ beautifully written songs, charming stage presence and voice of an angel have won her a reputation as a true natural talent of gentle folk-Americana. She has played everywhere from Glastonbury Festival to The Royal Albert Hall and opened numerous shows for Jools Holland and Van Morrison. The title track of her album Pour Me A Drink was covered by Nanci Griffith who calls her ‘the sweetest voice in England’ and her cover of the Randy Newman song Feels Like Home was featured in the Cameron Diaz film My Sister’s Keeper.

Guitarist and singer Simon Haworth played bass with Jez Lowe & the Bad Pennies touring in Holland, Belgium, Denmark, Australia, USA and Canada as well as extensively across the UK. He also toured as guitar accompanist with top fiddle and Northumbrian Pipes duo, Tom McConville & Pauline Cato before forming a 4 year musical relationship with champion Northumbrian Piper Andy May.

'Subtle guitar accompaniments of quiet complexity' Living Tradition magazine

'Her earthy and honest approach as vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist gives a fresh outlook on the current crop of light-voiced whimsical female vocalists, with a deeper and more heart-felt style' Little Canaan album review, Amazon

'The sweetest voice in England' Nanci Griffiths

‘Impressive.’ Daily Telegraph
