Falling Like Feathers

Cat's second show will select stories from Old Europe that are full of luscious language and are sure to cast their dark, epic and seductive spell on you. Weaving several short stories together with her own live music and song, Cat illustrates how powerful and mesmerising storytelling can be, no matter what era it is from. At Codsall Village Hall on Friday.

Boka Halat - Barn Dance

Join Boka Halat for a concert and ceilidh! The band have African and English members and rhythm a plenty. After they perform their 45 minute concert the floor will be cleared so the barn dancing (with a caller) can begin. The tunes and dance sets are English and the rhythms are African. Get ready to shake those hips at Hixon Memorial Hall on Friday!

One of the world's greatest literary treasures is brought to the stage by two very talented actors - Richard Derrington, who has won the hearts of many Live & Local audiences, and his son Ned. Together they skillfully bring to life the epic story of one man’s struggle against the untameable beast of the seas. At Cannock Wood & Gentleshaw Village Hall on Friday and Newton Village Hall on Saturday.
